Publishing

Irene Webb began her publishing career in the rights department of the prestigious publisher, Alfred A. Knopf. She moved to G. P. Putnam's as Subsidiary Rights director, where she presided over a list of hundreds of commercial and literary books, making six and seven-figure deals for authors including Peter Straub, Robin Cook, and Mario Puzo.
